Man seriously injured in Burlington hit-and-run

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Police say a hit-and-run in Burlington left one man significantly injured.

Police say Sunday at about 11:30 p.m., a automobile drove up on the sidewalk on the intersection of Manhattan Drive and Rose Avenue and hit a person strolling on the sidewalk. He was thrown into the roadway.

Investigators say the driving force left the person there, injured and bleeding.

We’re instructed he has accidents which might be severe, however not life-threatening.

Officers ask anybody who heard or noticed a car leaving that space shortly, to name them.
