Charlestown Old Home Days – The Vermont Journal & The Shopper

CHARLESTOWN, N.H. – For the primary time since 2015, Charlestown might be internet hosting their Previous House Days on Friday, Aug. 19, Saturday, Aug. 20, and Sunday, Aug. 21, 2022. There are a large host of actions and occasions deliberate, together with fireworks, a fishing derby, a parade, meals distributors, stay music, carriage excursions, and historic open homes. The competition will start Friday afternoon and run till Sunday evening.

FRIDAY –

Flight Park Occasions – Ziplining and Laser Tag will run from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. Name to make a reservation and point out the OHD low cost at 603-542-4416.

Morningside Flight Park Excursions at 4, 5, 6, and seven p.m.

Video games, 7 p.m. – Water pistol enjoyable, large Yahtzee, and cornhole.

Music, 7:30–9 p.m. – Rebecca Mae and Jamey Dwell Band Music.

Youngsters Occasions –

5–6 p.m. – 13 and below Fishing Derby. Convey a pole.

6–8 p.m. – Contact-a-Truck on the Recreation Division.

8 p.m. – Youngsters free prize drawing.

Meals, 5–7 p.m. – Rescue Dawgs, Winnie’s Wagon, AJ’s Fried Dough, and free root beer floats at Life Fellowship from 6–8 p.m.

Aspect Occasions –

2–3:30 p.m. – Open Basketball Shoot on the Center Faculty Fitness center.

4–8 p.m. – Reunion of Courses on the Senior Middle.

6–8 p.m. – Misting Tent on the Hearth Division.

8 p.m. – Campfire Smores.

SATURDAY –

9:30 a.m. – Youngsters parade line up (center faculty).

10 a.m. – Parade begins, transferring from Principal Road by way of Sullivan Road and ending on East Road.

Meals, 12–3 p.m. – Rescue Dawgs, Winnie’s Wagon, AJ’s Fried Dough, grilled sausages, free waffle cones with ice cream, and ice cream cones BOGO.

Music, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Firehouse Six, Hills Bandwagon, Karen Bays, and All Nation Band will play on the library.

Principal Road Occasions –

11 a.m. – 2p.m. – Historic Society Open Home on the Bakery Constructing; St. Luke’s Mission Open Home; Anglican Church of the Good Shepard, excursions of the vault and story of the 1850 Bungled Housebreaking; Garden video games; Face portray.

11 a.m. – 3 p.m. – Free practice rides; Craft honest; Charlestown Artwork Present; Charlestown Conservation Fee Sales space; Inflatable axe throwing; free rock wall and bungee trampoline.

11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Youngsters Nook on the library garden. Dr. Seuss.

12–3 p.m. – Charlestown Historic Society Carriage Excursions at 12, 1, 2, and three p.m.

12:30–1:10 p.m. – Hocus Pocus Magic Present at Silsby Library.

1–2 p.m. – Wildlife Encounters at St. Luke’s Church.

3–6 p.m. – Drop off adorned cupcakes in Neighborhood Room.

6–9 p.m. – City Youth Dance on the Gazebo Court docket.

SUNDAY –

Meals –

7–10 a.m. – Pancake breakfast on the City Corridor.

12–2 p.m. – Neighborhood pot luck with free watermelon on the Library/Neighborhood Room. Convey your personal dish to share.

Music –

9–10:30 a.m. – Gospel Music Live performance on the library.

12–3 p.m. – Open karaoke.

7 a.m. – 5K race. Meet on the pool. No pre-registration required.

8–9 a.m. – Drop off adorned cupcakes in Neighborhood Room.

9 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Public voting for Greatest Cupcake.

9 a.m. – 3 p.m. – Child goats on the library.

11:15 a.m. – Household Magician Dylan Tenny on the library.
