Amtrak cancels all trains in Vermont on Friday

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – The upcoming storm is bringing rail visitors to a halt in Vermont.

Amtrak is canceling all of its trains scheduled to run in Vermont on Friday because of the climate.

VTrans says the transfer will have an effect on as much as 50 vacation vacationers.

“Due to potential hazard for timber, the Amtrak service out and in of Vermont tomorrow, Friday, will probably be canceled. It can resume Saturday,” stated Dan Delabruere of VTrans.
