Terriers to Race Northeastern, Rhode Island Saturday Morning – Boston University Athletics
BOSTON – Within the closing residence race of the spring schedule, the Boston College girls’s rowing staff will race each Northeastern and Rhode Island Saturday morning on the Charles River.
The varsity eight boats will begin off the competitors at 9:20 a.m. with FloSports broadcasting the races. The second varsity eight boats will comply with at 9:50 a.m. with the varsity 4 and second varsity 4 races happening back-to-back at 10:20 and 10:30 a.m., respectively. The third varsity eight will wrap up at 10:50 a.m.
BU began the brand new 12 months with a sweep over fellow Patriot League member MIT. The Terriers then received the highest two varsity eight races in opposition to each Boston School and Japanese Michigan this previous weekend with the V8 incomes PL Boat of the Week honors.
Northeastern’s V8 claimed CAA Boat of the Week honors after defeating each PL member Navy and Columbia. Final spring, the Huskies defeated the Terriers by 9 seconds and URI by 12 seconds. BU received the 2V8 by seven seconds, and URI received the V4 by greater than 14 seconds.
