Sims Metallic, a global metallic recycler with a facility in Windfall, hosted an Earth Day clean-up on land and sea of Collier Level Park final Saturday.

The Sims staff collected over 2,600 kilos by way of skimming the water and amassing trash on the shoreline and within the park.

In keeping with Mike Kiwanis, Normal Supervisor of Rhode Island operations, the corporate and its staff cleaned the park from each the road aspect and the waterfront using a big flat deck boat.
