Decide and former Rhode Island Lieutenant Governor Richard Licht was hit by a car outdoors the Rhode Island State Home on Wednesday, GoLocal has discovered.
Licht is presently a Superior Courtroom Justice in Rhode Island.
The 74-year-old Licht served as a Democratic State Senator from 1973 to 1984. He then served two phrases as Lt. Governor from 1985 to 1989. In 1988, he ran for the USA Senate and misplaced to incumbent Republican John Chafee.

In line with a number of sources, the incident occurred on Smith Avenue shortly after 5 PM.
It’s unclear the extent of Licht’s accidents at the moment.
He was reportedly taken by rescue to Rhode Island Hospital.
Witnesses say the motive force of the car remained on the scene.
