Reva Harris Smith, 97, of Pittsburg, Illinois, handed away on Saturday, Could 21, 2022 at Life Care Heart of La Heart, Kentucky.
 
Reva was born in Pittsburg, Illinois on January 3, 1925 to the late Edgar and Maude Smith Harris.  She was a member of Pittsburg Free Will Baptist Church.  Reva labored for a few years as beautician from the salon that was positioned in her dwelling.  She was additionally a homemaker and was very household oriented.  Reva had many skills that included quilting, taking part in the piano and guitar, in addition to singing.  She was a really loving and giving one that loved giving baked items and canned greens to family and friends from the backyard she would elevate each summer time.  Above all else, Reva was a fighter.  She survived most cancers whereas in her 40’s and continued to stay an extended and wholesome life effectively into her 90’s. 
 
Reva is survived by her daughter, Karen (Dee) Hazelwood of Wickliffe, Kentucky; a sister, Earlene Hendrickson of Marion, Illinois; two granddaughters, Angie (Steve) Fields Paducah, Kentucky and Shelby (Ryan) Pillow of Wickliffe, Kentucky; 5 great-grandchildren, Evan Fields, Rianah Fields, Laynee Duff, Jaysee Duff and Noah Pillow; and a number of other nieces and nephews.  
 
She was preceded in demise by her husband, Mitchell Smith; a daughter, Leah Smith; a grandson, Mitchell Lane; three sisters, Olive Stewart, Sylvia Anderson and Golda Beers; 4 brothers, Ivan, Ira, Ivan “Curly” and Marvis Harris; and her mother and father. 
 
Funeral companies might be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, Could 24, 2022 at Milner & Orr Funeral House of Wickliffe with Bro. Dee Hazlewood officiating.  Graveside companies might be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday on the No. 8 Cemetery in Pittsburg, Illinois. 
 
Visitation might be held from 9:30 am till the service time of 11:00 am on Tuesday, Could 24, 2022 on the funeral dwelling. 
 
Expressions of sympathy could also be made in reminiscence of Reva Smith to the No. 8 Cemetery, in c/o William Parks: 15314 Liberty College Rd. Marion, IL 62959.
