Pittsburg: 1 Dead in Vehicle Crash on Loveridge
At 6:13 pm Thursday, the Pittsburg Police Division responded to the 2200 block of Loveridge Highway within the Metropolis of Pittsburg on the report of auto versus a tree.
Upon arrival, AMR arrived on scene reporting bystanders had been in CPR with one occupant of the automobile.
By 6:20 pm, this was reported to be a deadly crash by Pittsburg Police.
Southbound Loveridge was shutdown on the on-ramp. Anticipate delays within the space and the roadway will probably be shut down for an prolonged time period.
UPDATE
CHP reported a taking pictures on Freeway 4 close to Loveridge across the time of the automobile crash and are investigating to see whether or not the taking pictures was associated to the crash. The suspect automobile is described as a silver SUV.
