Crews monitor for flare ups of Pittsburg fire from weekend

PITTSBURG, Calif. (KGO) — Contra Costa County hearth crews on Monday mentioned it is going to proceed to observe for flare ups of a fireplace that burned in Pittsburg over the weekend.

Crews stopped ahead progress of the comb hearth, dubbed the Marsh Fireplace, late Saturday.

The fireplace burned round 200 acres alongside a waterfront between 700 block of Willow Move Street and tenth St. in an inaccessible and uninhabited space away from any constructions.

On Monday, Contra Costa hearth tweeted smoke from the Marsh Fireplace is smoldering in Pittsburg inflicting a heavy marine layer and hazy conditions across the East Bay.

Crews include 3-alarm industrial hearth that threatened Vallejo cellular dwelling park

The fireplace was first reported in June and flared up Friday night.

Fireplace crews mentioned no constructions are threatened and no evacuations are anticipated.

They’re asking individuals to not name 911.
