Police: Man assaulted, robbed of $4,000 in Roxborough; suspect sought

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Philadelphia police are looking for a suspect wished for a theft and assault within the metropolis’s Roxborough part.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, March 16, simply after 7 p.m. on the 400 block of Hermitage Road.

Police say a male sufferer reported he was overwhelmed and robbed whereas strolling residence.

Surveillance video confirmed the sufferer was attacked whereas he was strolling along with his down.

That’s when an unknown male knocked him down and started to punch and kick him.

The sufferer instructed police the robber took $4,000 from him and fled in direction of Ridge Avenue.

Officers say the video later confirmed the suspect getting right into a black Chevrolet sedan with harm to the passenger facet hood and short-term registration within the left facet rear window.
