Mother, child injured in ‘suspicious’ house fire in Trenton: Officials

TRENTON, New Jersey (WPVI) — Officers stated a mom and youngster had been injured in a “suspicious” hearth at a house in Trenton, New Jersey.

The fireplace began at about 1:30 a.m. Friday within the 300 block of Hamilton Avenue.

When crews arrived, flames had been taking pictures from the house.

Officers stated 13 individuals lived on the dwelling and had been capable of make it out safely on their very own.

One individual was noticed punching out a window to rescue an aged girl, officers stated.

A girl and youngster had been taken to an space hospital for smoke inhalation.

The Crimson Cross is now aiding the residents.

Officers haven’t but stated why they consider the fireplace to be suspicious.
