Man allegedly posed as SEPTA employee while trying to lure bus operator

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Police are providing a $1,000 reward for data that results in the arrest of a suspect accused of posing as a SEPTA worker in North Philadelphia.

The incident befell on Sunday, February 20, close to the 3300 block of Dauphin Avenue.

Police say 57-year-old Larry Reese of Philadelphia tried to lure a bus operator from her bus by posing and appearing as a SEPTA official.

Anybody with data surrounding Reese’s whereabouts is requested to contact SEPTA Transit Police at (215) 580-8111.
