Dog rescued from side of NJ Turnpike in Burlington County finds a forever home

WESTAMPTON, New Jersey (WPVI) — A canine that was rescued from the aspect of the New Jersey Turnpike has formally discovered a endlessly dwelling.

Clifford, a 2.5-year-old hound combine, was noticed operating unfastened on the freeway in late December and induced visitors to cease on the southbound lanes close to the Exit 6 interchange. He has spent the previous few months on the Burlington County Animal Shelter.

The truck driver named the canine Clifford, after the kids’s e book basic, “Clifford the Huge Crimson Canine.”

Clifford was turned over to the Florence Township’s animal management officer, who introduced him to Burlington County’s Academy Drive shelter.

Lisa Yochim, of Absecon, visited Clifford and have become smitten after studying about him from information studies and social media.
