Boil water advisory for roughly 14,500 residents in Chester, Lancaster counties

COATESVILLE, Pennsylvania (WPVI) — A boil water advisory has been issued for some residents in Chester and Lancaster counties.

Officers say the Rock Run Water Therapy Plant skilled a problem, which resulted in lower-than-normal chlorine ranges inside the plant.

In accordance with officers, this boil water advisory impacts roughly 14,500 clients in Pennsylvania American Water’s Coatesville system, together with:

  • Chester County: Metropolis of Coatesville, Parkesburg and South Coatesville and parts of the Townships of Atglen, Caln, East Fallowfield, Highland, Sadsbury, Valley, West Caln and West Sadsbury.
  • Lancaster County: The Borough of Quarryville and the Townships of Bart, Colerain, Eden and Sadsbury.

Till additional discover, water must be boiled earlier than ingesting, making ice, washing dishes, brushing your enamel or getting ready meals.
