A single vehicle crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike killed a 22-year-old Lititz man and injured a 20-year-old Lancaster County woman around 9 a.m. Saturday.

Pennsylvania State Police say Bryce Nolt – the passenger of a Hyundai Veloster driven by the 20-year-old woman – was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment, according to the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission and a state police report.

The crash happened two miles west of Exit 266 for Lebanon Lancaster, and closed all westbound lanes from Exit 266 to Exit 247 for Harrisburg East.

State police said there was a “steady moderate rainfall” when the crash took place after the driver lost control.
