State museum of Pennsylvania offering programs to homeschoolers

HARRISBURG, Pa. — At all times looking out for instructional area journeys, Pennsylvania homeschoolers have a brand new useful resource obtainable.

The State Museum of Pennsylvania has launched its schedule for month-to-month homeschool applications.

Museum curators and educators from the commonwealth’s official museum will lead six Pennsylvania-focused applications, with a special program scheduled every month.

Every program contains a guided gallery tour and a dialogue about that month’s subject. Afterward, youngsters are handled to a scavenger hunt and a Q and A with employees.

This faculty 12 months’s schedule consists of Groovin’ with Stone Axes, Woven Arts: Domesticity and Creativity, Wetlands of Pennsylvania, Horsepower to Fuel Energy, Pennsylvania’s Land and Folks, and William Penn’s Holy Experiment.

Packages start at 10 a.m. and final roughly 1-1/2 hours. Participation is proscribed. Advance registration and prepayment is required.
