Pa. Republicans slowly are learning to embrace mail-in ballots

Sam DeMarco, the Allegheny County Republican Committee chair, says he’s had to knock down countless “wackadoodle” conspiracy theories over the last few elections. Many of the concerns and questions have been tied to voting by mail — largely fueled by former President Donald Trump’s false claims of widespread election fraud in 2020. That did the GOP “no favors,” Mr. DeMarco said.
