Man Killed In 2-Vehicle Falls Township Crash

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA —A Morrisville man was killed Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon.

On Saturday, around 2:50 p.m, Falls Township Police were dispatched to the intersection of Pine Grove Road and West Trenton Avenue, Morrisville, to investigate an accident with injuries.

The preliminary investigation determined that a Polaris Slingshot, operated by a 50-year-old man was traveling along West Trenton Avenue through the intersection when he struck a Volvo SUV operated by a 72-year-old Lower Makefield Township woman, who was turning left onto Pine Grove Road.

As a result of the collision, the operator of the Slingshot sustained critical injuries. He was transported to Capital Health, New Jersey, where he untimely succumbed to same.

The operator of the SUV sustained minor injuries for which she was transported to Saint Mary Medical Center.

At this time alcohol, drugs or a medical emergency are not believed to be factors in causation.
