Delco murder suspect arrested in North Carolina, girlfriend found safe: Police
CHESTER, Pennsylvania (WPVI) — Police say a suspect needed for homicide in Delaware County, Pennsylvania has been taken into custody in North Carolina and his girlfriend has been discovered secure.
The Chester Metropolis Police Division tells Motion Information that Dahmier Harmon, 26, was taken into custody with out incident on Friday night time by police in Fayetteville.
They are saying his girlfriend was with him and unhurt.
In line with police, Harmon’s girlfriend was final seen at a good friend’s home within the space of West twenty first Road in Chester round 4 p.m. Friday.
Police issued a lacking endangered particular person advisory.
Police say Harmon was needed for the homicide of Leon Culbreath which occurred within the space of the 2100 block of Edgmont Avenue on August 3.
Investigators say that Harmon kidnapped his girlfriend as a result of he believed she advised police concerning the homicide. Police say she was not the one that alerted authorities.
Harmon will probably be extradited to Pennsylvania and can await trial for the homicide of Culbreath, police say.
Authorities say the kidnapping remains to be below investigation presently and there could also be further fees towards Harmon.
