Crash Reported On Eastbound PA Turnpike In Montco

UPPER DUBLIN TOWNSHIP, PA —A car went off an embankment on the eastbound lane of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, authorities said.

Emergency Alerts of Southeastern Pennsylvania posted on its Facebook page that a driver was trapped in their vehicle and had called for assistance around just after 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Fire crews were dispatched to the scene at Mile Marker 338.6 near the eastbound ramp of the Route 309 interchange in Fort Washington.

Emergency Alerts of Southeastern Pennsylvania said that Squad 88, 88-1, Rescue 88, Squad 10, Squad 10-2, and Medic 351-5 were dispatched to the scene.

It was unknown at this time whether there were any injuries or what impact there is on traffic.
