Will Mammograms Be Available at Super Walmarts in New Jersey?

I go to my Super Walmart all the time and never imagined I could do my shopping for milk and eggs and now get a mammogram.

It’s true, mammograms launched in December in Delaware. It’s a breast screening service called MammogramNow. Hopefully we’ll be seeing it in the Super Walmarts in New Jersey or at least in some locations.

According to radnet.com, more and more locations across the country will have Mammograms available at our local Walmart.

Is MammogramsNow coming to a local Walmart in New Jersey?

Not yet, it started in Delaware and later this year in Arizona and California. Hopefully this will be in New Jersey Super Walmart’s soon.

Mammograms are so important and access to potentially life-saving preventative exams can be hard for some people to get too. According to radnet.com, ninety percent of all Americans live within ten miles from a Walmart. Doctors say women should start Mammograms at the age of 40 and early detection is so important.

Appointments are not necessary at MammogramNow in local Super Walmarts. A doctor’s referral is also not required, so there is no reason why you can’t get a mammogram.

From CEO Howard Berger, MD and RadNet president:

The ability to offer leading-edge hardware, software and AI technologies in a non-traditional healthcare location, such as a highly-trafficked retail location like a Walmart Supercenter, could become a new paradigm for the future of consumer healthcare and preventative medicine.

All women will receive temosynthesis, a type of mammography that uses 3-D images to improve cancer detection. Also, they have the option to add artificial intelligence to their screenings which adds no extra time at the appointment but leverages the most cutting-edge detection technology, according to radnet.com.

ATV rider wanted after running over officer in New Jersey, police say

Police are asking for help identifying an ATV rider who ran over an officer in Ewing, New Jersey.

According to the Township of Ewing Police Department, on Sunday, May 31, 2026, officers received multiple calls regarding ATVs operating recklessly throughout the town.

Police said that at around 5:30 p.m., an officer encountered a man who was attempting to fuel an ATV at the Delta gas station, located at 1513 Princeton Avenue.

The officer exited his patrol vehicle and attempted to stop the man on the ATV, police said. That’s when the man drove over the officer with the ATV and fled.

One of Jersey City’s most beloved restaurants will finally reopen as Harry’s Daughter has set an official date for its relaunch.

The Caribbean-Irish fusion restaurant, located at 339 Communipaw Avenue, was forced to close last June after a devastating kitchen fire. Jersey Digs covered the restaurant’s opening way back in 2017, and it has since become a mainstay not only of Bergen Lafayette’s dining scene but also of Jersey City’s best and most unique restaurants.

Harry’s Daughter will officially be returning to the landscape on June 5, reopening stronger, refreshed, and perfectly timed for summer. Owned by the husband-and-wife team Ria Ramkissoon and Alasdair Cotter, the restaurant will resume full operations with all the old favorites returning to the menu, plus a few surprises.

Patrons can look forward to a refreshed Caribbean beach bar atmosphere with Harry’s Daughter return, plus signature Trinidadian-inspired dishes and a backyard dining ideal for summer. The restaurant will also be rolling out a highly anticipated brunch service with the reopening.
