Tractor-trailer full of fireworks catches fire, ignites explosive display above NJ interstate

Drivers on a New Jersey interstate bought a free firework present Sunday night time when a tractor-trailer transporting a considerable amount of the fireworks caught fireplace — setting off an explosive show of colours into the night time sky.

The truck driver observed the tire of a dolly he had on the truck was ablaze and pulled over to the aspect of I-287 South in Bridgewater at round 10:30 p.m., New Jersey State Police stated.

The fireplace rapidly unfold and ignited among the 1000’s of kilos of fireworks loaded onto the trailer.

Drivers and passengers caught behind the truck — close to Exit 14A — filmed movies of the exploding fireworks as they waited for the visitors to clear.

The wild scene backed up visitors for hours as a number of lanes had been shut down as authorities responded to the tractor-trailer fireplace.

The fireplace was introduced beneath management and nobody was injured, police stated.
