New Jersey
Sunny, summer-like conditions in New Jersey
A light southwest wind rockets temperatures to near 80 degrees this afternoon and it lasts through the first half of the week. A cold front approaches for Thursday, but it is weak and can send a few light rain showers to New Jersey. This all comes upon some of the driest weather we have had in a long time. We are pushing 21 days without measurable rain and it is likely to continue. Since the front on Thursday doesn’t look strong or organized, it’s likely to only send just a trace of rain to New Jersey. The lack of rain is dangerous for the environment as a drought is setting in and can continue to intensify with the lack of rainfall. High temperatures will be near 80 degrees through Wednesday with a sudden drop on Thursday as the front comes through. Overnight low temperatures will be mild as well to start. Sunshine is also expected through this weekend and early next week.
