New Jersey Transit suspends Montclair-Bontoon line after tree falls onto wires
GLEN RIDGE, N.J. — New Jersey Transit suspended service on the Montclair-Boonton line Wednesday morning after windy climate toppled a tree into overhead wires.
It occurred round 7:15 a.m. close to Glen Ridge. Nobody was damage.
Crews labored on the tracks to take away the tree. Bus service was offered between Newark Broad Avenue and Montclair State College.
