Man throws large bottles of wine at Linden, New Jersey liquor store workers during confrontation

LINDEN, New Jersey (WABC) — There have been dramatic moments at a liquor retailer in New Jersey when a person went on a bottle-breaking rampage.

Surveillance video captured the violent assault at Beno’s Liquor retailer in Linden on November 30.

Retailer staff say a buyer grew to become irate and threatened to kill them after they refused to promote him liquor at a reduction.

The person then hurled 5 massive bottles of purple wine at staff.

Two staff suffered accidents. The assault brought about $3,000 price of harm.

Thus far, no arrests have been made.
