Birmingham Stallions upend New Jersey Generals on late TD in USFL opener

There was drama in Saturday’s USFL opening sport because the Birmingham Stallions used a late drive to down the New Jersey Generals, 28-24.

The sport was simulcast on each FOX and NBC because the league started anew with the identical title of 1 that noticed stars play a long time in the past.
