5-alarm fire in Kearny, New Jersey rips through 2 homes leaving families displaced

KEARNY, New Jersey (WABC) — Firefighters battled a large 5-alarm home fireplace in Kearny, New Jersey Sunday afternoon.

Flames broke out at a home on Laurel Avenue and shortly unfold to the house subsequent door.

First responders take care of heavy fireplace and thick smoke as the hearth persevered for a while.
