KEENE, N.H. (WCAX) – Authorities have released the name of the officer who shot his gun in a police-involved shooting in Keene, New Hampshire, last week.

Police say that last Tuesday, at the intersection of Baker and Colby streets, officers responded to a call about a person in distress. There, they found Cullen Costa, 25, with a weapon.

Monday, New Hampshire’s attorney general said Keene Police Officer Jake Dube shot Costa once in the chest.

Authorities say Dube has three years of law enforcement experience, all with the Keene police.
