There are currently no cyanobacteria warnings-advisories in the state.

Current fecal bacteria advisories include Pawtuckaway State Park in Nottingham, which has been active for 10 days, FB Argue Recreation Area Beach at Whites Pond in Pittsfield, which was posted Thursday, and North Hampton State Park Beach, was which posted Friday.

There are also cyanobacteria watches-alerts in four communities: Cobbetts Pond in Windham, which has been active for about a week, Mascoma Lake in Enfield, which was posted four days ago, and two new watches issued on Friday at Baboosic Lake in Amherst and Forest Lake in Winchester.

Three cyanobacteria were taken off the list.

They include Sunset Lake in Alton and Gilmanton, Silver Lake in Hollis, and Elm Brook in Hopkinton.

State officials said cyanobacteria are natural components of water but the blooms may cause acute and chronic health effects. Acute health effects include skin and mucous membrane irritation, tingling, numbness, nausea, vomiting, seizures, and diarrhea. Anyone exposed to cyanobacteria should seek medical attention and report the information to the state.

CONCORD, NH — A Merrimack County grand jury indicted the following people recently.

Alexander Allard, 27, of Amherst Street in Nashua on a felony falsifying physical evidence charge. He was accused of removing a Massachusetts license plate from a Toyota Matrix to impede a state police investigation on March 21 in Hooksett.

Samantha Beland, 32, of School Street in Manchester on five felony possession of a controlled drug-subsequent charges, methamphetamine, 3,4-MDA, diazepam, lorazepam, and fentanyl, on April 17, 2021, in Bow.

Megan M. O’Connell, 45, of Carver Street in Laconia on operating while deemed a habitual offender and bail jumping charges, both felonies. She was accused of driving on Central Street in Franklin on Jan. 17 after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV and after being released on bail, failing to appear in court on March 18 in Franklin.

Felix A. Perez, 30, of Mammoth Road in Hooksett on a felony cruelty to animals charge. He was accused of striking a cat in the head, causing it to lose a tooth, bleed from the mouth, and die on April 22.

Jonathan Pereyra, 28, of Granite Street in Allenstown on attempted second-degree assault-domestic violence and bail jumping charges, both felonies. He was accused of placing his hand or hands around the neck of another person and applying pressure sometime between Jan. 1 and April 1, 2022, in Allenstown and failing to appear in superior court on July 25, 2022, after being released on bail.

Anthony D. Philbrick, 23, of Main Street in Candia on two felony criminal solicitation to commit tampering with witnesses and informants charges. He was accused of calling a relative and asking him to send a text message to a victim, telling her to “plea the fifth and everything will be dropped” or words to that effect on March 6 and “drop the charges and go our separate ways” or words to that effect on March 9 in Boscawen.

Ryan Quiroga, 31, of Cohas Avenue in Manchester on theft by deception-$1,501-plus, theft by deception, attempted theft by deception-$1,501-plus, falsifying physical evidence, and three forgery charges. He cashed a forged J&M Morse Trucking LLC check at the Sugar River Banks in Warner, New London, and Concord, and discarded a fraudulent check in Concord on March 7, according to the indictments. Christopher Ramsay, 33, of South Main Street in Pittsfield on three felony second-degree assault-domestic violence charges. He was accused of strangling an intimate partner, blocking her nose and mouth, and blocking her mouth on April 5 in Pittsfield.
