Man pleads guilty to stealing kids’ pills at NH treatment home
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — A former employee at a residential therapy residence in New Hampshire pleaded responsible Monday to stealing treatment from youngsters and changing it with capsules he coloured with markers.
In accordance with prosecutors, Thomas John Ball Poirier, 41, of Tilton stole Ritalin from youngsters at Spaulding Academy and Household Providers in Northfield in 2020. He was arrested in March 2021 and pleaded responsible Monday to first-degree assault, second-degree assault and acquiring a managed drug by deceit.
The lawyer common’s workplace mentioned two of the kids skilled extreme behavioral adjustments as a response to having their prescriptions tampered with.
Poirier shall be sentenced Jan. 13.
