Jane Young Confirmed as US Attorney in New Hampshire
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — The subsequent U.S. lawyer for New Hampshire is Jane Younger, a former deputy lawyer common within the state, after her affirmation by the U.S. Senate on Wednesday.
Younger was nominated by President Joe Biden in January. She was confirmed on a voice vote.
“I’m assured she’s going to serve New Hampshire with distinction because the state’s chief federal legislation enforcement officer,” U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen stated in a press release.
“All through her tenure, she has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to the legislation, public service and justice. As a local Granite Stater, I’ve little question Ms. Younger will channel her ardour and experience to make sure the wants of New Hampshire are met,” Shaheen stated.
“Jane Younger is an distinctive selection for U.S. Lawyer for New Hampshire, and it’s encouraging to see her confirmed to the place with bipartisan assist,” U.S. Sen. Maggie Hassan stated. “Her stellar report of investigating and prosecuting criminals, and her deep dedication to justice, offers me confidence that Ms. Younger will serve Granite Staters with distinction.”
