Jane Young Confirmed as US Attorney in New Hampshire

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — The subsequent U.S. lawyer for New Hampshire is Jane Younger, a former deputy lawyer common within the state, after her affirmation by the U.S. Senate on Wednesday.

Younger was nominated by President Joe Biden in January. She was confirmed on a voice vote.

“I’m assured she’s going to serve New Hampshire with distinction because the state’s chief federal legislation enforcement officer,” U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen stated in a press release.

“All through her tenure, she has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to the legislation, public service and justice. As a local Granite Stater, I’ve little question Ms. Younger will channel her ardour and experience to make sure the wants of New Hampshire are met,” Shaheen stated.
