Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued across parts of Mass., parts of NH under flood warning
BOSTON — A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued across parts of Massachusetts Saturday night.
Parts of Norfolk and Worcester counties are under a severe thunderstorm warning until 8:15 p.m. while other areas of Norfolk, Bristol and Plymouth counties are under a severe thunderstorm warning until 8:45 p.m.
A flash flood warning was also issued by the National Weather Service for Essex, Middlesex and Suffolk counties until 8:45 p.m.
In New Hampshire, Belknap, Carroll, and Strafford counties are under a flash flood warning until 7:30 p.m.; Carroll and Coos until 8:00 p.m. and Cheshire County until 8:30 p.m.
According to Boston 25 Meteorologist Tucker Antico, residents could see wind gusts measuring 60 miles per hour as the storms push eastward.
We’re tracking that strong line of storms as it moves east through S’ern New England. Widespread gusts to 40MPH and isolated severe gusts to 60MPH are expected.
