Providence man arrested for rape in Massachusetts

HANSON, Mass. (WWLP) – A person from Windfall was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with aggravated statutory rape of a kid in Massachusetts.

In line with Hanson Police, they had been alerted to the existence of a video on social media, which appeared to point out the suspect, later recognized as Jared Soltys from Windfall, interacting with a minor.

Officers charged Soltys with aggravated statutory rape of a kid and procuring liquor to an individual underneath 21.

Soltys is being held on $20,000 bail on the Plymouth County Correctional Facility.
