Massachusetts McDonald’s customer allegedly throws register, fists at worker, third recent clash between employees and customers

Three physical altercations have taken place in Massachusetts the last week involving customers and employees.

According to the MBTA Transit Police, on February 24th at 7:00 p.m., MBTA South Station Transit Police Department Officers arrested a 34-year-old male after he attacked a McDonald’s employee striking him several times with his fists and a cash register.

The suspect, identified as Odair Andrade, allegedly became upset when the employee touched the lid of his drink.

Andrade was transported to Transit Police Department Headquarters for booking.

The victim received treatment for reported injuries.

The incident at McDonald’s was the third recent clash between workers and customers in the Bay State.

On February 22nd, 5 were accused of a violent assault on a Massachusetts Stop & Shop employee.

On February 19th, a Fall River fast food worker was accused of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on an employee.
