Local contingent helps Massachusetts claim first

4 native highschool gymnasts helped led Group Massachusetts to a first-place end through the three-day Senior Showcase Invitational Meet held final weekend on the Estero Recreation Heart in Estero, Florida.

A complete of 10 groups throughout the nation competed within the showcase, which “is a contest between states which are in a position to carry the ‘better of one of the best.’ It’s a great expertise that culminates years of coaching and a ‘final hurrah’ for his or her highschool gymnastics expertise. … It is a one among a sort expertise for the gymnasts. Of the 4, Schille was the highest scorer within the all-around with a 33.725, good for twenty second out of 101 individuals. She tied for ninth on the stability beam (9.050), tied for twenty seventh on the ground train (9.050) and the vault (9.075) and tied for 53rd place on the bars (6.550).

Cioffi claimed twenty third within the all-around with a rating of 33.525. She positioned in a tie for twenty fifth on the beam (8.40), tied for twenty first on the vault (9.150), tied for twenty ninth on the bars (7.50) and tied for 66th on the ground (8.475).

Donovan was forty second within the all-around (31.425), ending twenty second on the bars at 7.750, twenty sixth on the ground at 9.075, tied for forty ninth on the vault at 8.60 and tied for seventy fifth on the beam at 6.0.

Kiefer participated in two occasions, taking thirty ninth on the bars at 7.0 and 81st on the ground train at 7.850.
