Police investigating fatal hit-and-run at Acadia National Park

Maine State Police say 35-year-old Nicole Mokeme was killed in a hit-and-run incident on the Schoodic Training and Analysis Heart in Winter Harbor someday late Saturday evening or early Sunday morning.

State police and the Nationwide Park Service are investigating the incident, which they are saying is remoted and don’t imagine poses an ongoing threat to the general public. Police are asking for the general public’s assist in finding a 2016 black BMW SUV which will have been concerned within the incident.

The automotive is registered to 35-year-old Raymond Lester of Portland, based on state police. Members of the general public ought to name state police in the event that they see the automobile.
