Opening reception for Maine Art Gallery juried members show June 4

The Maine Artwork Gallery’s second present of the season, the Juried Members Present, opens Saturday, June 4 with a reception starting at 4 p.m. Singer/songwriter Jud Caswell can be available to offer music till 7. The huge ranging exhibit continues by means of June 25, Wednesday by means of Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Juror Sam Cady has chosen 53 artists who will exhibit 98 artworks expressing a spread that features lovely abstraction, a powerful sense of supplies, and wonderful or placing representations of moods and concepts. The ultimate choices embody work, sculpture, textiles, printmaking and pictures with imagery starting from typical Maine subject material to extra private explorations of a theme.
