A Massachusetts man was charged with homicide Saturday within the demise of a Skowhegan, Maine, girl who was discovered useless at her house after police responded to a report of an assault, officers stated.
Jason Servil, 19, was arrested on the Skowhegan Police Division Saturday afternoon and was taken to Somerset County Jail, Maine State Police stated in an announcement.
Skowhegan police responded to a 911 name at 5:39 a.m. reporting an assault at 912 Canaan Street, the place 20-year-old Alice Abbott lived together with her mother and father, the assertion stated. Abbott was discovered useless when police arrived, officers stated.
State Police stated the 911 caller, a person from Madison, Maine, had been assaulted and suffered a head damage. The person, who was pals with Abbott and was spending the night time on the property, was handled and launched from Reddington-Fairview Normal Hospital in Skowhegan, authorities stated.
