Maine teen killed in New Jersey beach collapse, sister injured

TOMS RIVER, New Jersey (WMTW) – An 18-year-old from Maine is useless after a gap he was digging on a New Jersey seashore along with his sister collapsed.

First responders had been referred to as to Ocean Seashore 3, a personal seashore neighborhood in Toms River, New Jersey simply after 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Authorities say Levy Caverley and his 17-year-old sister had been digging a gap on the seashore with frisbees when the outlet collapsed.

Caverley’s sister, whose identify has not been launched, was rescued and handled on the scene.

Crews spent a number of hours retrieving Levy’s physique.

What brought about the outlet to break down is beneath investigation.
