The Maine CDC says 100 persons are hospitalized with COVID-19 on Thursday, up six from yesterday. Nineteen sufferers are in essential care and 4 are on ventilators.

The company is reporting 356 new coronavirus infections and no extra deaths.

Maine CDC director Nirav Shah stated on Twitter this week that the extra contagious BA.2 variant has pushed an uptick in transmission, however that hospitalizations should not rising at the same price.
