Maine heating oil prices dip from record highs

The value of house heating oil in Maine is falling from report highs.

About two weeks in the past, a gallon of quantity two heating oil price, on common, $5.71 within the state, with some retailers reporting costs properly over $6. However the Governor’s Vitality Workplace says that preliminary numbers present statewide common costs this week falling downward, nearer to $5 a gallon.

Greater than 60% of properties in Maine depend on oil for winter heating.

The workplace expects to launch its newest survey of heating gas costs later this week.
