ROCKLAND — Meet the artists for the Fall Show at Maine Coastal Islands Art Gallery opening and reception on Friday, Sept. 8, from 4 – 6 p.m., at Maine Coastal Islands NWR Visitor Center, 9 Water St., in Rockland.

Lorraine DeMichele of Camden will exhibit her en plein air watercolors. Her paintings reflect the beauty of nature in and around Camden where the mountains meet the sea.

Ronald Frontin and Art School Friends – regional artists studying with local Maine Master Painter Ronald Frontin, based in Rockland – will exhibit coastal life and landscape images from their personal lives and imaginations.

Cindy House will have her collection still on exhibit through September 12. Her pastels portray the beauty of landscapes while capturing special encounters with birds.
