Residents report hearing explosion near Ellington structure fire
A structure fire in Ellington is under investigation on Sunday and residents reported hearing an explosion.
Town officials said the fire happened on Village Street around 7:30 a.m.
According to the town, residents reported hearing a loud explosion in the area. It’s unclear what may have caused the noise.
No injuries were reported.
