Man killed in rollover crash on I-84 in Vernon
A man was killed in a rollover crash on Interstate 84 in Vernon Saturday afternoon, police said.
Police responded about 5:48 p.m. to reports of a rollover on I-84 westbound between exits 67 and 66 in Vernon and found a man who had suffered serious injuries in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Connecticut State Police Troop C.
The area of I-84 westbound near exit 67 was closed to traffic until about 10:30 p.m. Saturday. All lanes had reopened as of Sunday morning, police said.
The crash was still under active investigation, police said.
