A Plainfield woman was charged with possession of narcotics after being pulled over by Connecticut State Police for driving erratically in Lisbon on Thursday.

At about 4:23 p.m. on Thursday, troopers from Connecticut State Police Troop E in Montville spotted a vehicle on River Road in Lisbon that was failing to drive in the proper lane, state police said.

Troopers pulled the vehicle over on School Street in Griswold and spotted what appeared to be a small bag of narcotics in the door handle, according to state police.

While searching the vehicle, troopers allegedly found 15.2 grams of suspected narcotics and charged the driver, 33-year-old Adrienne Galipeau, with possession of a controlled substance, state police said.
