ANDOVER, Conn. (WFSB) – Isolated storms across Connecticut Saturday night are causing damage, including a downed tree and wires in Andover.

State police say Route 316, also known as Hebron Road, is closed in both directions while the damage is cleared.

There is no word yet on if the downed wires caused any power outages or when the road is expected to reopen.

According to the Eversource Website, over 4,000 people are still without power after the thunderstorms Friday night.

They say over 1,200 of those outages are in Greenwich with 386 being reported in Norwalk and 376 in Bristol as of 2 p.m.

There was also damage reported across the state, including in Ellington where police say tree limbs fell on power lines and left several people without power.
