The body of a Brooklyn man who was allegedly murdered by his brother earlier this year was found buried in a shallow grave in Connecticut, according to police.

The remains were first spotted on Sunday afternoon in Mohegan Park in Norwich by a walker who saw something sticking out of the ground, cops and sources said.

Officials later confirmed the body was that of missing 44-year-old Martin Wright

In February, a woman walked into NYPD’s 81st Precinct in Brooklyn and told officers that Wright, a family member, had been killed, according to NYPD.

Police believe Wright was killed during an altercation with his brother around 5 a.m. on Jan. 28, 2023, in a residence at 773A Monroe St. in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

Wright suffered “trauma to the head” during some kind of argument with family members and his body was then taken to another location, which was unknown by police until this week.

A Brooklyn man who was allegedly murdered in January was found in a Connecticut park this week.

He was additionally charged with criminal possession of a loaded gun, concealment of a human corpse, tampering with physical evidence, possessing a forged instrument and falsifying business records.

Craig Smith, 48, of Brooklyn, was also charged with concealment of a human corpse and tampering with physical evidence, police said.
