A CT trooper stopped to investigate a crash on I-84. Another vehicle collided with her cruiser.
A Connecticut State Police Trooper was injured after she stopped to investigate a crash on I-84 East in Hartford and another vehicle collided with the police cruiser and several other vehicles Sunday, police said.
The trooper stopped near Exit 50 and was helping vehicles involved in a crash pull over to the right shoulder. Another vehicle lost control and collided with multiple vehicles, including the state police cruiser, according to Connecticut State police.
The trooper, from Connecticut State Police Troop H, was taken to a local hospital to be treated for her injuries, police said.
No one else was injured in the incident and no further information was immediately available.
