UND, Boston University set future college hockey series

GRAND FORKS — A Hockey East group is lastly again on UND’s schedule.

UND has signed a contract to play Boston College in a pair of nonconference sequence that includes two conventional faculty hockey powerhouses.

The Preventing Hawks will go to Agganis Area in Boston through the 2023-24 season, whereas the Terriers will make a return journey to Grand Forks in 2024-25.

It has been six years since UND has performed a Hockey East group. The final time was within the 2017 NCAA match, when Boston College beat UND in a double time beyond regulation recreation within the Fargo Regional.

The Preventing Hawks have not performed a two-game sequence towards a Hockey East group since October 2015, after they swept Vermont in Gutterson Fieldhouse. No Hockey East group has performed in Ralph Engelstad Area since Windfall in October 2014.
