The Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular will return to the Hatch Memorial Shell on Charles River Esplanade on Monday, after a three-year hiatus because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Police are taking extra security measures for the occasion, which is the primary large-scale Fourth of July celebration town’s seen since 2019.
Authorities mentioned they plan to supply safety by land, air, and water. State police instructed NBC Boston that the 6-month-old bomb squad robotic’s identify is Roscoe and can be a part of Monday’s safety measures.
